Welcome to my website! Subsequent issues that appear together (like 5 one-pagers that were released in a row) are grouped together; loose issues that tie into each other (like the bonus stories in issue #22-24) are not. The bonus stories are often part of longer-running things, which don't have English translations, so I'm using whatever other people are calling them and - when I can't figure that out - my own translations.

PKNA is a long-running Italian comic series about Donald Duck's superhero alter-ego, known as PK (PiKappa, previously Paperinik). The original issues of PKNA have 62 pages, and often come with an 8-page bonus story.
Now's a 'good' time to read The Secret Origin of the Duck Avenger. It's a story that was released in 2000, and it's a sort of alternative version of PKNA. It's a three-parter, but it only spans about 25 pages in total, and everything about it baffles me. It's pretty easy to find online.
There are also some stories out there that were scrapped or lost. These were exclusively released in PK: Il Mito #36, where they were tacked onto the of the Pikappa finale.
One of those stories was a very early PKNA story, titled Incubo Sul Fondo. Uno's design is basically the same as Everett's, and a lot of classic PKNA elements are missing, but this half-completed (half of it is in text) story is interesting nonetheless!
PK² is the sequel series to PKNA! It ran for 18 issues, without any bonus stories or other material, so reading this is pretty simple. You shouldn't need a guide for this.

You've now made it to the hiatus!
In 2002, it was concluded that a reboot was needed. They were also releasing a videogame at the time, which likely played a role in PK²'s premature ending. This also came with a comic, which is a sort of worse version of issue #1 (and which has been included in other Pikappa reprints). They decided to completely change his origin story, and let it run for 32 issues.
While a lot of PKNA fans didn't like Pikappa, it did help kickstart a few modern duck artists' careers.
This was also released digitally in the USA, under the name Superduck, where the first 13 issues were available for purchase via the PlayStation store.

There was also a scrapped Pikappa story titled Fahrenheit. It was a manga-inspired story written by Gianfranco Cordera and illustrated by Claudio Sciarrone in 2003, that was almost entirely lost.
In 2010, Sanoma (the Dutch publisher) decided that it was time to make PKNA into a bigger thing (after failing to do so twice before). They did this by reprinting the second pilot and making their own comics. Most of them are one-pagers, released in Disney XD magazines, where they also reprinted Pikappa stories.
These stories are all incredibly short (5-7 pages), in true Dutch duck comic fashion, and are occasionally reprinted in superhero-themed bundles, while the one-pagers often make their way into normal weeklies.

In 2014, in the run-up to Paperinik: New Era, two spinoff stories were released, set in a universe where Donald and Uno never met.
The first was PK Universe, a story where Donald has to fend off the Evronian invasion with only his friends and family from Duckburg.
The second was Duck Avenger and the Fangus Machine, a story about classic Duck Avenger getting slandered by Angus Fangus.
In 2014, 12 years after the cancellation of PK², a few of the original writers and artists finally got to print a new instalment: Paperinik: New Era (a term popularised by fans, after one of the creators used it).
This series is set some time after PK², and was originally published in Topolino, before moving to a separate series (often listed as Fuoriserie).
The first few stories alternate between ones written by Francesco Artibani and drawn by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio (with some inking help) and ones written by Alessandro Sisti and drawn by Claudio Sciarrone. Just like PKNA, different writers tend to focus on different arcs and the issues alternate between them.
To make it easier to keep track of the different issues, I have added the Italian titles to some of the Fuoriserie stories.
